Forum "Math-for-Industry" (FMfI 2026)

The International Academic Conference: Forum "Math-for-Industry" (FMfI 2026) is an international scientific forum that brings together mathematicians, engineers, scientists, researchers, academicians, research scholars, and industry professionals from around the world. The conference aims to provide a distinguished platform for presenting recent advances in mathematics, engineering, intelligent computing, artificial intelligence, mathematical modelling, computational science, and interdisciplinary applications.

The international conference "Math-for-Industry" (FMfI), held under the Asia-Pacific Consortium for Mathematics for Industry (APCMfI) network, is an important forum that connects academics, researchers, industry, and policymakers in the Asia-Pacific region. This conference will help enhance Thailand's role in the international academic arena, strengthening research cooperation and knowledge transfer to the industrial sector. The purpose of the event is to link mathematics research with business and industry, in line with the Thailand 4.0 policy — Thailand's economic development policy vision based on the vision of "Stability, Prosperity and Sustainability".

In 2026, Thailand was honored to host FMfI 2026 with King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang as the main host, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, and the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. Moreover, the country's leading universities — namely King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Burapha University, Chiang Mai University, Silpakorn University, and many other universities in the network of industrial mathematics research groups — are taking part. This reflects the strength of Thailand's network of applied and industrial mathematics at the national and international levels, providing a strong academic foundation for promoting international cooperation in mathematics, engineering, computational sciences, and emerging intelligent technologies. The event is expected to attract participants from universities, research institutions, industries, and professional organizations worldwide.
